The ifa Institute for Occupational Medicine advises, treats and supports organizations and their employees as well as private individuals in all matters of physical and mental health. With its comprehensive expertise, the ifa has been making a forward-looking contribution to basic medical care and occupational health management in the Baden region and throughout German- and French-speaking Switzerland since 1995.
Around 140 ifa employees are committed to serving customers and patients on a daily basis, flexibly adapting to their individual needs. As a responsible employer, the ifa offers dedicated professionals a wide range of tasks in a future-oriented environment characterized by team spirit and also trains junior staff itself.

Foundation of the ifa AG at Kreuzweg in Baden by Dieter Kissling as an outsourcing of ABB’s company medical service. The first step from spin-off to SME.
1996
Takeover of the ABB health centers in Turgi, Birr, Oerlikon. Services are extended to other target groups.
1997
Foundation of the company health promotion BGF as a separate AG. More and more companies are supported in health issues.
2007
Opening of the BGF office in French-speaking Switzerland. Workplace health promotion services are now offered in this region too.
2014
Opening of the first corporate health centers in French-speaking Switzerland. Continued expansion of presence and support for companies in the region.
2017
Relocation of the pediatrics, gynecology and psychiatry/psychotherapy and health promotion services to Bruggerstrasse in Baden. Targeted expansion of specialist medical services.
2017
Support for Aargau prisons with online consultations for the first time. Flexible, fast and tailored to individual needs.
2022
Launch of the mobile practice. This allows check-ups and entire campaigns for employees to be carried out directly on site without disrupting ongoing operations.
2023
Opening of the check-up center at Kreuzweg in Baden. For private individuals and employees of organizations who want a snapshot of their state of health.
